The Democratic candidates swept the 2015 Cherry Hill Mayoral and Council race on Tuesday night.
Mayor Chuck Cahn and council members Sara Lipsett, Melinda Kane and Brian Bauerle all won re-election, according to the unofficial results on the Camden County Board of Elections website.
With 47 of 48 voting districts reporting shortly after 9 p.m. on Tuesday evening, Cahn had earned about 72.5 percent of vote, while Republican nominee Philip Guerrieri Sr. earned about 27.4 percent.
Kane led the council candidates with about 22.1 percent of the vote. Lipsett is in second with 21.9 percent and Bauerle is third with 20.6 percent. For the Republican nominees, Nancy O’Dowd earned 12.2 percent of the vote, Stephen Cohen received about 12.1 percent and Rick Shot received about 11.1 percent.
In the race for Cherry Hill Board of Education, incumbents Kathy Judge and Barry Dickinson were in the lead with one district yet to report. Judge earned about 27.7 percent of the vote, while Dickinson received about 26.2 percent. Ken Tomlinson Jr. had a small lead over Fredrick Dande for the third, three-year term seat. Tomlinson had 23.5 percent of the vote, while Dande had 22.2 percent.
Jane Scarpellino was elected to the one-year, unexpired term on the board of education. She was unopposed.
