Chesterbrook Academy preschool in Moorestown will host an open house on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will provide an opportunity for families to meet the school principal and teachers, explore classrooms and learn more about Chesterbrook Academy’s signature Links to Learning curriculum.
Links to Learning is a preschool-specific curriculum complete with monthly developmental skill summaries that closely involve parents. The goals of the program are to provide a high-caliber, developmentally appropriate education within the classroom, to enhance dialogue with parents, and to provide constructive guidance on how parents can become more involved with their children’s education through at-home activities that reinforce what’s being learned at school.
Chesterbrook Academy offers many activities during the week for students, including karate, gymnastics, dance and other sports. Students ages 3 and older have access to the latest technology in classrooms, including computers and iPads. Chesterbrook Academy’s campus features a large outdoor play area for sports and other activities.
Chesterbrook Academy has served the Moorestown community since 1987 and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. It serves children ages six weeks through kindergarten. Its hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Chesterbrook Academy is located at 130 Borton Landing Road. To RSVP for the open house, call Ann or Sue at (856) 234–5557.
