Today the Moorestown Rotary Breakfast Club hosted Former U.S. Congressman and Philadelphia Eagle Jon Runyan who will be moving to Moorestown. Runyan spoke about life after Congress and professional football and how he is writing the next chapter of his career. After spending 14 years in professional football and two terms in Congress, Runyan is currently involved in several new business ventures, active on boards and spoke about giving back to the community.
“Jon has truly moved from the field to the Board Room, and his business acumen is outstanding. He was the most engaging speaker we had this year and will be an asset to the local business community,” club president Scott Aschoff said.

Runyan is chairman of the Wish Upon A Hero Foundation, and serves on the Board of the Alzheimer’s Association and Advisory Board Chair of SNJ Business People, which develops strategic partnerships in the region.
