I’ve read Ravitz and Nocito campaign ads and ‘Meet the Candidates’ responses.
I now seriously doubt their qualifications.
With their repeated emphasis on Voorhees schools, I ask: why aren’t they running for School Board?
The most important tasks committee has are setting our township budget/taxes, administrating our government, and then assisting our school boards.
Ravitz and Nocito show a serious lack of understanding and experience in priority.
Nocito uses the standard Democrats’ trick of citing only one year’s tax rate (and not the dollar amount of taxes we actually pay) ignoring the other two years of taxes in a committee person’s three year term.
She didn’t tell you that in the official 2015 Voorhees Budget (Sheet 3), the amount of taxes that the Democrats took from you was another record high of $18,718,000.
The dirty secret is Democrats now borrow money at a record high amount to assist their record high spending (2015 Budget Sheet 3a) of $27,822,335.
Democrats in their 2015 Budget (Sheet 27) spent $3,654,000 (about $1 of every $5 collected in taxes) just paying off their record high debt forced on Voorhees Taxpayers.
Every debt repayment dollar is one less dollar of real tax relief or for needed services.
Ravitz said they “will use our (Ravitz and Nocito) experience to manage the budget and make sure every tax dollar is spent wisely and not wasted.”
Really?

Learn who’s buying the Democrats.
Add up donations from appointed lawyers such as Wade, Long, Wood, & Kennedy (Democrats big money township attorney).
Next, add up the professional engineers’ thousands of dollars to Ravitz and Nocito.
Have Democrats ever honestly sought a low bidder for services so you pay fewer taxes or just appointed their contributors who charge Voorhees exorbitant fees?
Democrats’ big money givers do get appointed year after year and you pay higher taxes.
I’m fed up with years of total control Democrats like Ravitz and Nocito who raise taxes, increase spending, only appoint their money contributors, and borrow millions of dollars putting Voorhees in financial debt.
Democrats Ravitz and Nocito have not earned your vote.
