The always popular Mooretown Ghost Tours are back starting Fridays and Saturdays Oct. 16, 17, 23, and 24 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
This guided walking tour departs Smith-Cadbury Mansion at 12 High Street and includes several spooky highlights including a visit to important Moorestonians at their eternal resting place in the Episcopal Cemetery, a stroll past several haunted homes that are linked to murderous tales, a meeting with our town’s founders at Friends Greenlawn Cemetery, and a tour of the old town jail.
Tickets are available for purchase at the start of the tour: cash or checks only. Adults are $15 each; $12 for seniors, students or members; $6 for 12 and under; and under 6-years-old is free.
