On Oct. 2 between 1:30–2 p.m. a wallet containing cash and credit cards was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 100 block of Heather Drive.
Mount Laurel Police responded to the area of South Church Street near Pleasant Valley Avenue for an erratic driver complaint on Oct. 5 at 2:40 p.m. Officers located the vehicle parked in the Wawa Parking Lot, 720 South Church Street. As a result of the investigation officers arrested a male, age 31, of Mt. Laurel after several syringes were observed in his vehicle. He was charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe released pending a court hearing.
Sometime between Aug. 18 and Oct. 5 someone cut a hole in the fence surrounding a cell phone tower on the 3700 block of Church Road. Copper wire valued at approximately $1000 was stolen from the tower.
A victim reported that on Oct. 5 between 9:45 p.m. — 11:15 p.m. his 1996 Honda Civic was stolen from the parking lot of 3105 Route 38.
On Oct. 6 at 9:40 a.m. Mt. Laurel Police responded to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services office at 530 Fellowship Road for the report of a wanted person on location. Officers arrested a male, age 41, of Willingboro, for being wanted out of Luzerne County, PA for drug distribution. He was charged with being a fugitive from justice with bail set at $5,000 no 10 percent option. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail.
Between Sept. 16 and Oct. 6 someone cut copper wire off of a cell phone tower on the 4100 block of Church Road causing approximately $1000 in damage. Approximately $75 worth of copper wire was stolen.
A customer of Aldi Supermarket 3105 Route 38 reported that cash was stolen from her purse while she shopped at the store on Oct. 6 between 1:15 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.
On Oct. 6 at 9 p.m. Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Hainesport Road near Hartford Road. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 47, of Mt. Laurel. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
A victim reported that she accidentally left her purse at the ShopRite, 127 Ark Road, on Oct. 6. The purse was turned into customer service and returned to the victim, however $200 was missing.
An employee of the Roger’s Walk Community, 2100 Deal Drive, reported that a storage shed at the community garden was broken into during the overnight hours of Oct. 6th into Oct. 7. An Echo rototiller valued at $400 was stolen.
The 1996 Honda Civic reported stolen from the parking lot of 3105 Route 38 on Oct. 5 was located in Philadelphia on Oct. 7. The car had been stripped of parts and then set on fire.
