The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department:
Due to a physical domestic altercation on Sept. 14 a 33-year-old woman of Crider Avenue was arrested on Sept. 15 for simple assault. She was released on $2,500Â bail.
On Sept. 14, Cleaning personnel were inside Town Hall on West Second Street cleaning after offices were closed when a male subject came out of the men’s bathroom. Upon checking officers found an open door and the male sleeping inside the men’s room in the library. The 29-year-old man was charged on a special summons with trespassing.
On Sept. 15, a 43-year-old female of Camden was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She concealed women’s clothing in her handbag from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. The total value of the clothing was $351. She was released on a summons.
On Sept. 16, a 40-year-old man of Landisville was arrested and charged with theft by deception. The man selected four ties from the display at Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall and returned them for a gift card in the amount of $99.96. He was also charged with shoplifting for concealing four ties also from Boscov’s valued at $220 and left without paying. He was released on summonses.
