Clarissa Hand of Moorestown recently placed 2nd in the Girls 16-and-under doubles tournament at the USTA National Clay Court Championships last week. The tournament is one of four major events for 18-and-under players and finishing in second is a huge accomplishment. Below are the results.
Girls’ 16s Doubles (Final Round):
Ann Li (2) of Devon, Pa. and Natasha Subhash (2) of Fairfax, Va. defeated Anna Brylin (4) of Short Hills and Clarissa Hand (4) of Moorestown 2–6, 7–5, 6–2 at the Virginia Beach Tennis & Country Club in Virginia Beach, Va.
