Evesham officer arrests burglary suspect fleeing home, stolen items returned to victim
The following comes from Evesham Police Lt. Joseph Friel:
On Aug. 15 at 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a reported home burglary in the 100 block of Aspin Court.
The first arriving officer observed a male running from the area of the home that matched the description given by a witness.
The officer chased down the male and found him to be in possession of a backpack containing stolen electronics.
Further investigation determined that two males and a female had worked together to burglarize the home, targeting electronics.
All three were arrested and the vehicle they utilized in the commission of the crime was seized.
All stolen proceeds were recovered and returned to the victim.
Arrested:
A male, age 18, of Marlton was charged with third degree burglary and theft. He was released on his own recognizance.
A male, age 21, of Fort Dix was charged with third degree burglary and theft. He was released on his own recognizance.
A female, age 19, of Marlton was charged with third degree burglary and theft. She was released on her own recognizance.
