The following information was provided by the Mt. Laurel Police Department.
Several unlocked vehicles on Waverly Avenue were entered during the overnight hours of July 26 into July 27. Loose change and wallets were taken.
A guest of a hotel on Route 73 reported that someone stole $1,500 worth of jewelry from their hotel room on the afternoon of July 26.
A guest of a hotel on Fellowship Road reported that someone stole a watch valued at $250 from their hotel room on the afternoon of July 26.
On July 28 at 4:35 p.m., Mt. Laurel Police responded to Cedar Lane for the report of subjects selling items door to door. During the investigation officers arrested a 28-year-old man from Wilmington, Del. He provided a false name to officers in an attempt to avoid arrest on an outstanding warrant. He was charged with hindering his own apprehension and soliciting without a permit. Bail was set at $3,500 and he was committed to the Burlington County Jail.
On July 29 at 2:45 a.m., Mt. Laurel Police located a suspicious person at a hotel on Route 73. During the investigation officers arrested a 44-year-old woman from Mt. Laurel. She provided a false name to officers in an attempt to avoid arrest on several outstanding warrants. She was charged with hindering her own apprehension and released pending a court hearing after satisfying the warrants.
During the overnight hours between July 28 and July 29, two vehicles were entered on the 100 block of Glenbrook Drive and one on Schoolhouse Lane. Wallets containing credit cards and loose change were taken. Two of the vehicles were unlocked and the other was forced open.
On July 30 between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. a lock was cut off of a locker in the men’s locker room at LA Fitness on Dearborn Circle. A gym bag containing keys was taken.
On July 31 at 8 p.m., Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Larchmont Boulevard near Route 38. During the stop officers arrested a 25-year-old man from Mt. Laurel. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
On Aug. 1 at 1:45 p.m., Mt. Laurel Police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Route 73 near Church Road involving four vehicles. During the investigation officers arrested a 60-year-old man from Evesham. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
An employee of a business at 1000 Atrium Way reported her wallet was stolen from her desk on July 31 between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Her credit cards were then used at several locations in the area.
On Aug. 1 between 5:30 and 7 p.m., vehicle keys were stolen from a keyboard at Planet Fitness on Route 38 in Mt. Laurel. The keys were used to enter the victim’s car in the parking lot. A purse containing a wallet and cell phone were stolen from the vehicle.
