Camden County College to hold open house events in August

Prospective Camden County College students have four chances in August to attend small-scale open house events that will provide them with general enrollment information along with facts about attending the College that are of specific interest to them.

“If you were ever thinking about taking college courses to earn an undergraduate degree or to expand your current career or explore a new one, now is the perfect time to learn more about Camden County College,” said Freeholder Deputy Director Ed McDonnell, liaison to Camden County College. “Camden County College is known for responding to the changing needs of the community by continuously updating its programs to support the area’s economic development and residents’ professional development.”

Attendees will be provided with instructions about how to complete the enrollment and financial aid processes at Camden County College. In addition, an academic advisor will be available to discuss courses of study and the support services and extracurricular opportunities the College offers.

Potential enrollees will be able to attend “Meet CCC” Nights at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 6, 13, 20 and 27. The Aug. 20 event will feature a special English as a Second Language breakout session along with the general information portion.

Each “Meet CCC” Night will take place in the Forum, which is Room 101 of the Connector Building on the College’s main campus in Blackwood. The Blackwood Campus is located at College Drive and Peter Cheeseman Road in Gloucester Township, just off Exit 7B of Route 42. Free off-street parking is abundant adjacent to the Connector.

Additional details, plus an informative video starring the Camden County College Cougar mascot, are available online at www.camdencc.edu/meetccc/index.cfm.
