The Voorhees Animal Orphanage has announced that on Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the 19th Annual Woofstock event will return at John Connolly Park in Voorhees. The event is one of the biggest pet festival fundraisers in South Jersey. A the event non-profit rescue groups, vendors and pet lovers from around the tri-state area are invited to join the VOA in promoting animal adoption and to celebrate the love of rescue. This is a fun-filled family community day featuring exhibits, music, food court raffle baskets, pet microchipping, K-9 demonstration, mummers string band and more.
For 25 years, the VOA has has been providing shelter, healthcare, food and love to animals in desperate need of attention. Donations and funding allow the VOA to continue providing services to furry friends. All donations to the group’s certified 501C3 non-profit organization are tax deductible, and more importantly — greatly appreciated
The VOA shelter coordinates “Forever Homes” for pets for families all over South Jersey as well as up and down the east coast.
