See the Tall Ships and World’s Largest Rubber Duck on the Camden waterfront June 25 to 28

Camden County is hosting the Tall Ships along the Camden Waterfront, along with Penn’s Landing, from June 25 to 28.
“We are excited to view the Tall Ships as they sail up the Delaware and welcome these historic vessels to Camden County,” said Freeholder Jeff Nash, liaison to the Camden County Parks Department. “In addition to the ships, there will be food, vendors and entertainment all along the waterfront. I want to thank all of the Waterfront Partners that came together to make this extraordinary event possible.”
The Camden and Philadelphia two-sided waterfront offers unique views and increased accessibility for visitors from both sides of the river and creates the perfect venue for the Tall Ships. Over a dozen domestic and international tall shops will be on display, with several offering visitors the opportunity to board.
“This event truly offers something for every member of your family. Whether you are interested in Tall Ships, history, entertainment or enjoying a great day in the park, you’ll find it here.” Nash said. “This incredible event doesn’t happen every year, so don’t miss your opportunity to see this many Tall Ships all in one place.”
In addition, the World’s Largest Rubber Duck will be on display. The 11-ton duck serves as a reminder to conserve our natural resources for future generations.
The event is brought to the public by the Camden County Freeholder Board, the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, Coopers Ferry Partnership, Adventure Aquarium and Independence Seaport Museum. For ticket information, please visit www.tallshipsphiladelphia.com or call (877) 4-FLY-TIX.
The 51 acre Ulysses S. Wiggins Waterfront Park is located on the Delaware River in Camden. The park’s brick promenade takes you past some of Camden’s best known attractions such as the marina, Battleship New Jersey, the Susquehanna Bank Center and the Adventure Aquarium. The park is adjacent to Campbell’s Stadium, home to the Camden RiverSharks minor league baseball team, and the Camden Children’s Garden, four acres of interactive educational exhibits. Visit www.camdencounty.com for information on concerts and events in the park including the renowned Sunset Jazz Series and Freedom Festival Fourth of July celebration.
