The Southern New Jersey Jewish community secured the most commitments in Year One of the program when compared to all of the communities participating in the Life & Legacy program across the country.

Highlighting the evening was keynote speaker Barbara Greenspan Shaiman who expounded on her motto for everybody to “Live Your Legacy,” meaning that anybody can find a way to make a difference by using one’s passion to fix a problem in society.

Eighteen organizations participated in the LIFE & LEGACY program. Seventeen of these organizations were awarded a $5,000 incentive grant for meeting their benchmark goals during the year.
