On May 24, at 6:10 p.m., Medford Police stopped a red Nissan on Route 70 near Eayrestown Road for speeding and the driver not wearing a seatbelt. As the driver opened the glove box, further investigation revealed a prescription bottle containing a blue wax fold with suspected heroin, metal foil containing suspected heroin paraphernalia and a crucifix spring knife in the driver’s door. He was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to headquarters to be processed. Bail was set at $20,000.00 and police charged him with possession of Heroin, possession of a spring knife, possession of CDS paraphernalia, speeding, failure to wear seatbelt, and possession of CDS in vehicle. He was unable to post bail and was transported to Burlington County Jail in Mt Holly, where he was lodged.
