Author David A. Hart will discuss and sign copies of his highly regarded novel, Trenton, at the Medford Leas Theater on Saturday, June 13 beginning at 11 a.m. The presentation will be part of the on-going Forum Series. Attendance is free and reservations are not required. Medford Leas is located on Route 70, about a half-mile east of Route 541 (Medford Main Street.)
Trenton is a two-part story with roots in the American Revolution. Part One follows John Hart of Hopewell, New Jersey, an unheralded signer of the Declaration of Independence whose family saga is filled with the passions of his time. Author Dave Hart will focus on Part One and the Battle of Trenton.
An award-winning songwriter, researcher and historian, Dave Hart is a descendant of a New Jersey signer of the Declaration of Independence. He is a Trustee for the Trenton Historical Society and a member of the Ewing Township Historic Preservation Society. He resides in West Trenton.
The 45-minute presentation will also include a detailed analysis of The Battles of Trenton and the historical significance of the City of Trenton then and now.
