On Saturday, June 6, the Tabernacle Historical Society will be hosting its annual Strawberry Social from 2 to 5 p.m. This event will be held on the grounds of the Tabernacle Town Hall at the corner of Carranza Road and Chatsworth Road. In the event of rain, it will be moved to the nearby Tabernacle Methodist Church. Locally sourced strawberries will be served over generous slices of homemade cake and topping. In addition, hot dogs, iced tea, coffee and water will be available. Prices are modest, and all profits go towards the Scholarship Fund.
Everyone is invited for an afternoon of good food and small town friendliness. Take-outs are also available.
