On May 20 at 2 p.m., officers responded to the Home Goods Store, 101 South Route 73 for a shoplifting in progress.
Upon officers arrival two of the females were observed actively fighting with store loss prevention employees and the third suspect fled the scene on foot.
Those fighting with store employees were immediately arrested by police and the third female who fled the store was quickly located and apprehended.
Investigation determined that the trio worked together to shoplift over $600 worth of store merchandise.
When approached by store employees the group elected to fight rather than surrender. During the struggle one of the suspects, Juanna Taylor bit one of the employees. All merchandise was recovered and turned over to the store.
Arrested:
A female, age 25, of Philadelphia, was charged with second degree Robbery, fourth degree assault, fourth degree Resisting arrest, and third degree shoplifting. She was lodged in the Burlington County jail in default of $20,000 bail.
A female, age 28, of Philadelphia, was charged with second degree Robbery, fourth degree resisting arrest, and third degree shoplifting. She was lodged in the Burlington County jail in default of $20,000 bail.
A female, age 25, of Philadelphia was charged with third degree shoplifting. She was lodged in the Burlington County jail in default of $20,000 bail.
