Moorestown Library looks for student volunteers for Summer Reading Program

The Moorestown Library needs responsible, reliable teens who like working with children to be listeners in the Summer Reading Program. If you’re interested, sign up for a training session to learn more about it. Students who attend training will have first chance to choose their schedule, so bring your summer calendar to the training. Volunteer sign-up for those not attending orientation begins Tuesday, May 26.

Students entering grades eight and up are eligible to volunteer.

This training is recommended for all volunteers and required for new volunteers.

Register for one of these training sessions: Wednesday, May 20 at 7 p.m.; Thursday, May 21 at 7 p.m.; and Saturday, May 23 at 3 p.m.

Volunteers are needed for 2-hour shifts from June 19 through Aug. 15 during the following times: Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturdays in June, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturdays in July and August 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

To register for training, call (856) 234–0333 x5.
