Pet Valu of Marlton is running a number activities during Pet Appreciation Month.
Those who visit the store can purchase a “Buy a Paw, Help a Pet” paper icon of a paw print to be displayed in-store. Donations will be accepted at any dollar amount, with 100 percent of proceeds will benefit local animal-related non-profit groups.
The on Pet Adoption Weekend, April 25 and 26, those looking to add a new furry friend to their family can visit for special adoption events, educational demonstrations, face-painting, and other family-friendly activities.
On Saturday, April 25, the Marlton store will have dog trainer From Dusk Till Dog onsite from 2–5 p.m., Don’t Bully Us Pit Bull Rescue from 2:30–5:30 p.m., and a representative from Earthborn Holistic Pet Food from 3–6 p.m.
On Sunday, April 26, there will be a meet & greet with HousePaws Mobile Veterinary Service from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and Don’t Bully Us Pit Bull Rescue will be back onsite from 3:30–5:30 p.m.
There will also be a bake sale at the store on both days.
