Moorestown Police Reports for March 20 through March 26

The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department:

On March 20, a house under construction on Salem Road was broken into with forced entry. Taken was an AKDY bathtub valued at $1,074 and a tool belt valued at $200.

On March 23, a house under construction on Sarazen Drive was entered through an unlocked front door and five kitchen appliances were stolen from the garage for a total value of $4,000.

On March 24, a victim left her purse in a fitting room at Macy’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall and when she went back to retrieve it the purse was there but an Apple iPhone and an Apple iPod were missing. Total value of items was $800.

On March 26, a 43-year-old woman of Cherry Hill was arrested and charged with three counts of theft by deception for obtaining merchandise belonging to Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall and returning it for a gift card on March 26, March 25 and March 16 for the amounts of $56.97, $196 and $170. She was released on a summons.
A 38-year-old man of Cherry Hill was arrested and charged with three counts of shoplifting. The man shoplifted the merchandise from Boscov’s on March 26, March 25 and March 16 and gave it to the previously mentioned woman to exchange. He fled the scene in a vehicle, but was later picked up by Cherry Hill PD on outstanding warrants. He was committed to the Camden County Jail. He was charged on a warrant with bail set at $1,500 for the shoplifting offenses.
