Despite the unseasonable snowy weather, Lenape High School Community Service members braved the blustery spring snow to deliver all the necessary ingredients to cook and serve a meal at the Ronald McDonald House in Camden.
Lana Jones’ talented foods and nutrition students prepared the delicious home-made meal which consisted of a veggie tray, macaroni and cheese, chicken tenders, chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan, and pasta salad. Cupcakes and brownies completed the menu.
Community service members, led by advisors Pam Busarello and Kathy Waldron, cooked and assembled the meal. It was served to over 40 residents who call the Ronald McDonald House home while their children are treated at local hospitals.
