Vandalism, shoplifting top Mt. Laurel Police report this week

The following information was provided by the Mt. Laurel Police Department.

An employee of a business on the 900 block of Pleasant Valley Avenue reported her vehicle was scratched with a sharp object on March 6 between 3 and 7:30 p.m. The vehicle was parked in a parking lot adjacent to the business at the time of the offense.

On March 7 at 3:05 a.m. Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Fellowship Road near Route 73. During the stop officers arrested the driver, a 30-year-old woman from Mt. Laurel. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.

On March 7 at 10:40 a.m., Mt. Laurel Police responded to the ShopRite on Nixon Drive for a shoplifting report. The investigation led to the arrest of two individuals.

A 23-year-old woman from Runnemede was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She also had several criminal and traffic warrants for her arrest. Her bail was set at $2,500.00 bail with no 10 percent option and she was committed to the Burlington County Work Release Center. A 31-year-old man from Marlton was charged with shoplifting and released pending a court hearing.

On March 7 at 11:55 p.m. Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Nixon Drive. During the stop officers arrested the driver, a 58-year-old man from Philadelphia. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.

On March 7 at 5:10 p.m. Mt. Laurel Police responded to the ShopRite on Nixon Drive for a shoplifting report. The investigation led to the arrest of a 44-year-old woman from Delran. She was charged with shoplifting $54.29 in merchandise and released pending a court hearing.

On March 9 at 4:05 a.m., Mt. Laurel Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Hainesport Road near Gaskill Road. A vehicle travelling west on Hainesport Road crashed into a utility pole and overturned. The investigation led to the arrest of the driver, a 19-year-old woman from Mt. Laurel. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.

A resident of the 100 block of Ramblewood Parkway reported someone attempted to pry open three exterior doors of the residence between 6 p.m. March 6 and 8 p.m. March 8. No entry was gained.

On March 10 at 1:10 a.m., Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Fellowship Road near Church Road. During the stop officers arrested the driver, a 28-year-old man from Marlton. He was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a court hearing.

Two residents of the 100 block of Starboard Way reported their personal information was used to file fraudulent tax returns. The incident occurred on Feb. 11.

On March 10 at 8 p.m., Mt. Laurel Police conducted a suspicious person investigation on Fellowship Road near Route 73. The stop led to the arrest of a 32-year-old man from Philadelphia and a 29-year-old woman from Cherry Hill. They were charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were released pending a court hearing.

On March 13 at 11:20 p.m. Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on Crawford Place for a loud party complaint. The investigation led to the arrest of hotel guest, s 22-year-old woman from Willingboro. She was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and released pending a court hearing.

On March 14 at 1 a.m. Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Briggs Road near Irwin Road. During the stop officers arrested the driver, a 28-year-old man from Gibbstown. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.

A resident of the 500 block of Hartford Road reported that someone caused approximately $100 in damage to their mailbox between 8 p.m., March 12 and 4 p.m. March 13.

An employee of Vivint Solar on Roland Avenue reported four company vehicles had their catalytic converters stolen during the overnight hours of March 13 into March 14.

On March 15 at 5:45 p.m. Mt. Laurel Police responded to the Home Depot on Nixon Drive for a shoplifting complaint. The investigation led to the arrest of a 48-year-old man from Cherry Hill. He was charged with shoplifting $187.82 in merchandise and released pending a court hearing.

On March 15 at 11:30 p.m. Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 38 near Briggs Road. During the stop officers arrested the driver, a 20-year-old woman from Camden. She was charged with hindering her own apprehension after she provided a false name to officers in an attempt to avoid arrest for an outstanding warrant. Flowers posted bail and was released pending a court hearing.

On March 16 at 3 a.m. Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on Diemer Drive for a suspicious person investigation. The investigation led to the arrest of a 23-year-old woman from Cherry Hill for an outstanding arrest warrant and possession of Adderall pills. She was charged with possession of prescription medication not prescribed to her and released pending a court hearing after posting bail.
