Medford Police searching for suspect after armed robbery at Burger King

Medford Police are searching for a suspect who committee an armed robbery at the Burger King on Route 70 early last Saturday.

Police say the robbery took place at about 12:40 a.m. on March 14. After employees had closed the store for the night and began walking to their vehicles, one employee was confronted by a man, about 5-feet, 6-inches tall, wearing a ski mask, dark sweatshirt and dark khaki pants. The man displayed a metallic object believe to be a weapon and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot toward the nearby Acme and into the Cedars of Medford complex.

No injuries were reported during the robbery. Police are asking the public for any information on the suspect in this investigation. Anyone with any information can contact Medford Police detectives at (609) 654–7375 or the anonymous citizen tip line at (609) 714–0302.
