The Moorestown Township Public Schools have set the 2015 dates for Kindergarten Registration at the high school. Parents do not need to bring their child with them to their scheduled appointment. Parents are requested to call Cathy Kain, district’s central registrar’s office, starting Wednesday, Jan. 21 at (856) 778–6600 and press 7 to receive a scheduled time during the day to complete the registration procedure. There are pre-registration packets available, which will be sent out when making the appointment. These packets contain information about the kindergarten program and copies of the forms that you will be asked to complete before your scheduled appointment.
Kindergarten registration for all elementary schools (Baker, Roberts and South Valley Schools) will be held on the following dates:
Wednesday, Feb. 11 through Friday, March 27.
Children entering Kindergarten in September 2015 must be 5 years of age on or before Oct. 1, 2015.
Please bring the following documents to your scheduled appointment for your child to be successfully registered:
a) Original birth certificate
b) Five proofs of residency in Moorestown
c) A physician-authorized record of immunization for polio, rubella, mumps, measles, chicken pox, DPT and hepatitis B
d) A physical examination form completed by your health care provider
e) A completed registration packet
Please Note: Kindergarten screening dates:
• Roberts School — Monday, May 18 and Tuesday, May 19
• Baker School — Monday, May 18 through Wednesday, May 20.
• South Valley School — Wednesday, May 20 and Thursday, May 21
A ‘SignUp Genius’ link for kindergarten screening, at all three schools, will be posted on the MTPS website April 1.
