Mt. Laurel AARP holding next meeting on Feb. 5
The Mt. Laurel AARP Chapter 4003 will meet on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. in the Mt. Laurel Community Center. James Walsh will discuss “Astronomy and Its Influence on Life”. Refreshments and a social hour will follow the meeting.
Hoagie orders will be taken for the March 5 Hoagie Day meeting. Your choice of a tuna, turkey or Italian hoagie with chips and a beverage are available for only $6. Order an extra hoagie for a home-bound neighbor. Delivery is not available. For further information, call Lois at (856) 581–9340.
Donations of canned or boxed food or personal items will be accepted for the Women’s Opportunity Center. The center assists women who have lost financial support due to various life events. It provides education and career development that leads to their meaningful employment.
