It Takes a Village NJ hosts a training session and meeting on Jan. 13 and 14

It Takes a Village NJ is hosting a meeting on Jan. 14 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Moorestown Library Room A. Guest speaker will be Linda J. Cushing, executive director of Area Agency on Aging and Disability Resource Connection.

We are a caring, volunteer organization that helps the elderly, the disabled of any age, and returning vets, to live safely and comfortably in their homes… at no charge for our services!

Our services cover the following areas: Cinnaminson, Delran, Hainesport, Maple Shade, Moorestown and Mt. Laurel.

If you, or someone else you know, have need of our services, please let us know. For more information go to www.ITAVNJ.org, email [email protected] or call (856) 396–5783.

Volunteers are urgently needed. Volunteers include young moms who can shop for the home-bound and those whose background includes social work, information technology and administration.

On Tuesday, Jan. 13 is the next training session for volunteers. Please call (856) 396–5783 for more details. Only an hour with great people.
