The Department of Parks & Recreation wishes the Township of Moorestown and all who use the Parks & Recreation Programs and Facilities a very Happy Holiday Season. 2014 has been a tremendous year for the Department of Parks & Recreation from the re-opening of “The Rec” to the growth and development of many new programs. The end of the year allows us time to pause and thank all of those people who have made this year possible.
From Moorestown Town Council Members and Township Administration who made the renovation of the Church Street Recreation Center a priority to the Recreation Staff who make every day a possibility…the reinvention of The Rec has meant more programs, more opportunities for youth and families to be active and healthy. The Department of Parks & Recreation also thanks the thousands of individuals, youth and families who participate in and volunteer with the numerous programs the Department offers.
Thank you to the parent and youth volunteers who coach in many of our programs and who provide staff support. From soccer coaches to CIT’s the many volunteers at the Department of Parks & Recreation make these programs more robust and better for everyone involved.
During the holiday season the department is dedicated to providing local youth a safe and fun place to go. The Church Street Recreation Center will continue its Open Gym Program throughout the holidays. Please check the recreation activities listing for specific dates and times. Times will vary throughout the season.
Happy Holidays and peace and good will toward all.
