Trick or treating hours set in Medford Township
Hours for Halloween trick or treating in Medford Township on Friday, Oct. 31 are from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Residents and businesses who will be giving away treats are asked to turn on porch lights. Participants are asked not to visit homes or businesses that do not have lights on. Children should wear light colors or reflective gear and carry a flashlight after dark.
Also, the Women’s Club of Medford will be hosting their second annual “Trunk or Treat” event from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Taunton Forge Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Taunton Boulevard and Tuckerton Road. Parents who wish to participate in candy distribution should come in a vehicle and be prepared to distribute candy from their trunk. Decorations are optional, but prizes will be given for the best decorated trunk. Escorted children are invited to walk through the designated area of the parking lot to collect candy. The Woman’s Club will also lead a parade around the shopping center so that the children can collect treats from the stores. Prizes will also be awarded to the best-costumed children.
