On Oct. 2 at the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs meeting, Evesham Township Police Department was honored with the overall first place finish for the 2013 Police Law Enforcement Challenge. The National Highway and Traffic Safety Association reviewed and rated all submissions to determine who has the best traffic enforcement/education program in the state of New Jersey.
As a result of ETPD’s first place finish, the department was rewarded with a free radar signboard valued at over $5,000. This is another resource for ETPD to utilize in their daily efforts in keeping our community safe from hazardous drivers.
ETPD would like to acknowledge the City of Burlington Police Department who was also honored for their participation in the challenge.
