Moorestown Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the 7–11 convenience store at Camden Avenue & Lenola Road 2 a.m. on Sept. 25. A lone male, thin build, black pants, dark-colored hooded sweatshirt or jacket, and dark colored mask, threatened the clerk with a handgun before taking and then fleeing on foot eastbound on Camden Avenue towards Main Street with an undetermined amount of cash and cigarettes. On Sept. 20 a young woman age 18 of Cherry Hill was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The woman concealed a pair of panties valued at $7.00 from Sears department store in the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons. A 17-year-old juvenile male who was with her was charged with shoplifting also. The juvenile stole a bottle of perfume valued at $55.
On Sept. 21 a victim had her purse taken from an unlocked vehicle overnight on Sentinel Road.
On Sept. 23 Arrested and charged on this date for theft by deception and receiving stolen property from an incident on Sept. 21 was young male age 18 of Moorestown. He received $110 cash from the ECO ATM machine in the Moorestown Mall for a stolen IPhone valued at $500. He was released on a summons.
