A late goal by Shawnee’ Taylor Ryan helped guide Shawnee girls’ soccer to a 1–1 tie against Lenape in Olympic Conference action on Thursday afternoon.
Shawnee overcame an early 1–0 deficit late in the second half with Ryan’s goal. Alexis Palladino assisted on the play. After allowing a goal midway through the first half, goalkeeper Farley Caroline was strong the rest of the way. She made 12 saves in the match.
Shawnee’s next game is at home on Sept. 19 against Cherry Hill East.
