Mt. Laurel Police promoted four officers to the rank of police sergeant. Cpl. Ryan Orange, Cpl. Timothy Hudnall, Cpl. Brian Michigan and Det. Jeffrey Palladino were awarded the promotion.

Each of the sergeants participated in a promotional exam administered by the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. The exam tested their knowledge, skills, and abilities related to the duties of police sergeant. The promotion process also included candidates appearing before a command interview consisting of Chief Dennis Cribben, Township Manager Maureen Mitchell, and police command staff. The new sergeants each demonstrated during the selection process, and throughout their distinguished careers, that they were more than ready for the new and challenging responsibilities.

Sgt. Ryan Orange has been with the Mt. Laurel Police Department since 2002 and is assigned to the patrol bureau. Sgt. Timothy Hudnall has been with the Mt. Laurel Police Department since 2000 and is assigned to the patrol bureau. Sgt. Brian Michigan has been with the Mt. Laurel Police Department since 1996 and is assigned to the administrative division. Sgt. Jeffrey Palladino has been with the Mt. Laurel Police Department since 2001 and is assigned to the patrol bureau.
