The Camden County Freeholder Board’s Department of Public Works is conducting emergency road work in the southbound lane of Haddonfield-Berlin Road near Browning Lane in Cherry Hill.
“Camden County Public Works Crews are on the scene repairing a section of concrete roadway that has deteriorated,” said Freeholder Ian Leonard, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “We anticipate that the work will continue through next week, so motorists need to be aware of the lane restrictions that will be in place in that area.”
In light of the heavy traffic volume on the roadway during rush hour motorists should consider alternative routes or prepare for delays.
Camden County is aggressive about repairing all county maintained roadways. The freeholder board has instituted a hotline residents can use to report road hazards they encounter. The Camden County Public Works Hotline, (856) 566–2980, is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“I also invite residents to use social media to contact the Freeholder Board to bring items to our attention as well,” Leonard said. “We need motorists to become engaged in this effort to make Camden County a better place to live and drive throughout our 1,200 lane miles of highway,”
