Moorestown Police Report for week of Aug. 20

The following information was provided by the Moorestown Police Department.

On August 9, a motor vehicle stop was conducted on S. Church Street. The driver, age 81 of Stoney Hill Road, Yardley, PA was issued a special summons for obstruction. He refused to give documents to the officer.

A special complaint for theft of a bicycle was issued on August 11 to an 18-year old male of N. Church Street. The man took the bicycle on August 7 from the Moorestown Library located on W. Second Street.

On August 12, a resident of Iron Post Road reported their 2003 Volvo was spray painted over night.

On August 13, an altercation took place at the Pleasant Valley Apartments located on Camden Avenue and Kings Highway. As a result, a 44-year old female of S. Lenola Road, Maple Shade was charged with aggravated assault and committed to jail in default of $35,000 bail; a 22-year old male of S. Lenola Road, Maple Shade was charged with burglary and aggravated assault and committed to jail in default of $40,000 bail; and a 24-year old male of S. Lenola Road, Maple Shade was charged with burglary and simple assault and released on bond for $20,000 bail.

On August 14, an 18-year old female of Fostertown Road, Lumberton, was arrested and charged with shoplifting from Boscov’s located in the Moorestown Mall. She concealed two rings in a bag valued at $60.
