The following information was submitted by the Medford Township Police Department.
On Aug. 13 at 10:07 p.m., Medford Police stopped a silver Audi A4 for speeding east on Route 70 near Medford Leas Way. The motor vehicle stop was on Route 70 near Eayrestown Road.

During the stop police observed multiple items consistent with the use of narcotics. A subsequent search revealed a blue wax baggie which contained suspected heroin residue.
The suspect, a 22-year-old male from Medford, was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released.
He was charged with speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia, pending court.
