Athletes from Cherry Hill and surrounding South Jersey towns are going for the gold this week as they participate in the 2014 JCC Maccabi Games. The games are being held in South Jersey for the first time since 1999.
Here are pictures of the South Jersey U16 baseball, the South Jersey Team Red girls basketball squad and the South Jersey Team Red girls’ soccer crew. Each of these teams played two games each on Monday and Tuesday. Knockout rounds begin on Wednesday and gold medal games will take place on Thursday.
