Moorestown Police investigating Aug. 6 robbery

Moorestown Police are investigating the report of a robbery at gunpoint at Romano’s Service Center, 225 Chester Ave., on Aug. 6 at approximately 9 p.m. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a dark colored ski type mask, green polo type shirt and tan shorts. The employee told police that the suspect threatened him with a large dark colored handgun. The employee was not injured. The suspect got away on foot with approximately $890. Moorestown Police were assisted in their search for the suspect by a K9 from Evesham Police Department.
