Burlington County College offering career training for unemployed residents

There is an opportunity for Burlington County’s unemployed residents to receive free career training through state grants obtained by Burlington County College.

In partnership with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Burlington County One-Stop, the college will host a free Electronic Technician Training Program Information Session at its Mt. Laurel campus on Thursday, June 26 at 10 a.m. Unemployed residents interested in participating in this no-cost career training program are invited to the session in Laurel Hall, room 320.

The program is made possible through the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s Opportunity4Jersey grant, which enables colleges to provide free career training to unemployed job seekers.

Representatives from the college’s professional development and corporate college division and county one-stop employees will be on hand to discuss the program and training opportunities. Industry members will also be present to elaborate on the needs of the sector.
