Two MYAA baseball teams have recently won championships in their respective leagues.
Medford’s 11-and-under JV Renegades defeated the 11-and-under Moorestown team 17–7 on Monday, June 16 to capture the 11-and-under B Division title at Moorestown’s annual Father’s Day tournament. The championship game was held at Moorestown’s John Pryor M.D. Park.
In the MYAA fifth and sixth grade league, George’s Golf Shop defeated the Medford Microbes 7–6 on Saturday, June 14 at Hartford Crossing to capture the title. George’s Golf Shop rallied twice to overcome two run deficits taking the lead in the final inning of a very exciting game.
