The Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative is pleased to announce the election of Medford resident Patricia Suplee to its board of directors. Suplee is an assistant professor at Rutgers University-Camden’s School of Nursing.
With extensive knowledge of healthcare issues as well as the specific challenges facing South Jersey families, Suplee and three other new members of the board are valuable additions. The board tries to improve the health and well-being of South Jersey families.
“The cooperative and the region are fortunate that these talented individuals have chosen to dedicate their considerable expertise on behalf of maternal and child health care,” said Executive Director Judy Donlen.
Patricia Suplee’s area of expertise is maternal health and high-risk pregnancies with research interests in women’s health promotion and improving outcomes for low income, urban women.
