The following information was provided by the Mt. Laurel Police Department.
A patron of Miller’s Ale House on Fellowship Road reported the theft of a wallet and contents valued at $10. The incident occurred on June 4, between 12 midnight and 2 a.m. The wallet was last observed on the bar.
A resident of the unit block of Holly Cove reported a credit card theft. Fraudulent purchases exceeding $270 were made at various locations throughout the country using the victim’s credit card numbers.
A member of the YMCA on Centerton Road reported the theft of a cell phone from an unsecured gym locker. The incident occurred on June 4, between 10:55 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The phone is valued at $200.
An employee of McDonald’s on Route 38 reported a theft. Two black menu signs, valued at $2,000, were taken from outside the business. The suspect was identified as a male in his late 20’s, operating a white Ford F-150 pickup truck. The incident occurred at 1:20 p.m. on June 4.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 47-year-old male of the 200 block of West Linden Avenue, Lindenwold, on June 6 for being a New Jersey Wanted Person. He was wanted by Camden County Sheriffs for an outstanding child neglect warrant in the amount of $40,000. He was found to be a wanted following a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 in the area of Rogers Walk. He was subsequently turned over to Camden County Sherriff’s. Department.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 39-year-old male of the 100 block of Kensley Road, Pemberton, on June 6 for shoplifting $317.68 in merchandise from the Wegman’s on Centerton Road. Incident to arrest, he was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was charged with shoplifting and possession of marijuana under 50 grams. He was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 38-year-old female of the 100 block of Buckingham Way, on June 7 for shoplifting $133.73 in merchandise from TJ Maxx on Centerton Road. She was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 28-year-old male of the 500 block of Buttonwood Street, Delanco, on June 8 for hindering his own apprehension. Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 73 and Fellowship Road at 2:47 a.m. Davis provided false information to police in an effort to avoid arrest on outstanding warrants. He was charged with hindering and released on a summons.
A resident of the 600 block of Bradley Court reported the theft of a Trek mountain bike and chain lock from outside the residence. The incident occurred between 9 a.m. June 7 and 8 a.m. June 8. The bike is valued at $500.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 25-year-old female of the 800 block of York Street, Camden, and a 69-year-old female of the unit block of West Fifth Street, Burlington, on June 8 for possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Incident to a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 in the area of Interstate 295, they were arrested on outstanding warrants. Subsequent to arrest, the 25-year-old was found to be in possession of heroin, paraphernalia and hypodermic needles. The 69-year-old was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. The 25-year-old was charged with hindering, possession of heroin, possession of paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles and released on summons. The 69-year-old was charged with possession of crack cocaine and lodged at the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 31-year-old female of the 3300 block of Delsea Drive, Franklinville, on June 8 for hindering her own apprehension. While responding to a report of a disorderly person at a hotel on the 1100 block of Route 73, she provided false information to police. Subsequent to arrest, she was found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, paraphernalia and hypodermic needles. Nichols was charged with hindering, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles and released on summons.
A resident of the 200 block of Martins Way reported a criminal mischief to a vehicle. The incident occurred between 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. June 8. A vehicle window was damaged. Damage is estimated at $200.
A resident of the 200 block of Saint David Drive reported a burglary and theft to a residence. The incident occurred on June 7, between 9:10 p.m. and 10:10 p.m. Entry was gained through an unlocked rear window. Jewelry and a safe with contents, valued at approximately $4,000, were taken.
A resident of the 2800 block of Gramercy Way reported a theft by deception. The incident occurred on May 21 at 8 a.m. The victim deposited $3,000 into a Craig’s List account to purchase a motor vehicle in Massachusetts. When attempting to pick up the vehicle, the victim found the property to be vacant.
