It will be a huge party for the Cherokee High School Class of 2014 graduates. Held on the same night as commencement, the party gives each graduate the opportunity to celebrate with friends and classmates. The event begins at 10 p.m. and is held at Chartwell Swim Club, whose facilities are generously donated each year by the Johnston family. The party features live music, games, entertainment, basketball court, inflatables, great food, fantastic prizes a great DJ, swimming, more food, water slide, diving board and a special gift for everyone to take home.
Students must purchase tickets in advance and arrive with both ticket and student ID to be admitted. Ticket price is $10 and will be on sale at Cherokee High School on June 3 from 9:45 a.m. — 1:40 p.m. in the North Cafeteria. Additional sale dates are located in the North Main Hall: June 5 and June 9 from 2:15–4 p.m.; June 10 from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.; June 11 from 2:15 p.m. — 4:30 p.m.
“This is a year round process of planning and fundraising”, Project Graduation president Rick Goldenberg said. “Our dedicated group of parents work hard to provide the kids with a great party that is drug and alcohol free.” A very special “thank you” goes to all business supporters and Cherokee families, whose generous donations make this event possible.
