The Diamonds at Arrowhead Park, the four-diamond baseball and softball complex, will be opening on Wednesday, April 30.
The celebration begins at 7 p.m. with a ribbon cutting, followed by ceremonial pitches and field dedications.
“We’re thrilled for the opening of these fields,” Mayor Randy Brown said. “This is just another reason Evesham Township is so great. Even after council and I have retired from serving our community, our residents’ children will still be using these fields.”
The fields are comprised of traditional baseball-dirt and a turf outfield.
Food, music, and family fun activities will be part of the opening day ceremonies.
Evesham Township residents, families, friends and neighbors are invited to partake in this historical ceremony.
“This is another way of making the community a priority,” Brown said. “We didn’t have a solid community in 2007, and now look at us. We have a parade, an actual Fourth of July celebration and now The Diamonds at Arrowhead Park to bring people together.”
Please join Evesham Township Mayor Randy Brown, members of council and officials for the unveiling of The Diamonds at Arrowhead Park on Wednesday, April 30 at 7 p.m.
