Cherry Hill Police arrest male after suspected domestic dispute case

The following information was provided by the Cherry Hill Police Department.

On April 15 at 8:43 p.m., police were notified by JFK Hospital staff that a 41-year-old female entered the emergency room with injuries sustained during a domestic dispute.

Through police investigation, it was discovered that a 45-year-old male from the 1200 block of Farrell Avenue had repeatedly choked the victim rendering her unconscious and unable to defend herself as he continued to assault her. After regaining consciousness, the victim was able to flee the scene and a neighbor transported her to the hospital. The victim suffered a concussion, bruises and lacerations and has since been discharged.

Police and detectives responded to the 1200 block of Farrell Avenue where the assault occurred and the male was arrested without incident. He was charged with criminal attempt homicide and terroristic threats. He was remanded to the Camden County Jail in default of $750,000 full cash bail.
