Cinnaminson Police arrest Moorestown man wanted out of Colorado and Indiana
The following report comes from Lt. Tim Young at the Cinnaminson Police Department:
On Saturday, April 11 at 10:49 p.m., Officer Kevin Bohn of the Cinnaminson Police Department stopped a vehicle for driving without headlights. The driver identified himself, field sobriety tests were conducted and the driver was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
The driver did not have any identification and the information that he provided failed to match any known information.
An investigation, with the assistance of the FBI, was conducted into the driver’s identity. This investigation revealed the driver’s actual name did not match the name he original provided to police.
With the driver’s actual name, authorities were able to determine he had been wanted out of Colorado and Indiana for credit card fraud since 1992. He had been living outside the United States under an assumed name. He returned to the U.S. 18 months ago, and has been living on the 800 block of Loveland Road in Moorestown.
He was charged with hindering apprehension, false entry on a government document, and two counts of being a fugitive from justice. He was lodged in Burlington County Jail in default of $25,000 bail and is pending extradition to Colorado and Indiana.
