Joy Hoffman of Moorestown will showcase her watercolors and acrylic fine art at the Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice Inpatient Art Gallery through May 31. The public is invited to view the exhibit seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The exhibit will feature 20 of her pieces. A portion of art sale proceeds will benefit Samaritan’s programs and services.
“I discovered art shortly after my mother passed away in 1999. I was cleaning out her apartment and could not discard her art supplies. A whole new world opened up to me,” Hoffman said. “Art is a wonderful way to express feelings, skills and ideas.”
Hoffman’s work has been on display throughout South Jersey, including the Dr. David Flinker Pavilion Art Gallery at Virtua Memorial in Mount Holly, the Perkins Art Center in Moorestown, the Medford Art Center, the Markeim Art Center in Haddonfield, the Center for Arts of Southern New Jersey and more.
The Samaritan Inpatient Hospice Center Gallery is located on the second floor of Virtua Memorial, 175 Madison Avenue, Mount Holly. For more information please visit www.SamaritanHealthcareNJ.org.
