Rita T. Sambuco (nee D’Antonio) of Cadbury, and longtime Haddonfield resident, passed away on March 20 at 99 years of age.
Rita was the wife of the late Joseph, loving mother of Bernadette Barone and her husband Joseph, and the beloved grandmother of Angela Barone Kos (Mark) and Wendy Farley (Michael). Rita was also the dear great grandmother of Christina, Joey and Jimmy Farley, all of Cherry Hill.
Rita was born and raised in Philadelphia, then lived in Brigantine and Haddonfield. She was a member of Christ the King Church in Haddonfield.
Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, March 25, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Holy Eucharist RC Church, 344 Kresson Rd, Cherry Hill. Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Interment, Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
