Obituary: Leatrice Ann Moffett

Leatrice Ann (Cimaglia) Moffett passed away peacefully at Samaritan Hospice, Virtua-Mt. Holly on Wednesday March 5 at the age of 84.

Born in Madison, she raised her family in Cinnaminson before moving to Medford and then to Mt. Laurel.

Lee enjoyed raising her two children, travel, cooking, reading, making friends, and was a very active volunteer at all levels within the Republican Party in the 1970s. She was a homemaker and worked in retail sales for many years. She also started and organized a group of volunteers to help “pattern” and disabled child in Cinnaminson for many years.

Born to Carmella and Sam Cimaglia, she is pre-deceased by her husband of 45 years, William Haig Moffett, as well as her sisters Mildred and Margaret and brothers Gerald, Anthony, Michael, and Robert.

She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law Dennis “Craig” and Diana J. Moffett of Medford and William H. and Catherine Moffett of Otto, Wyo. as well as her grand-daughter Kimberly Nicole Moffett to who she fondly referred to as “My Angel.” She is also survived by her sisters Elizabeth and Ann and brothers John, Samuel, and Louis.

Services were private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lee’s name may be made to the wonderful Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
