The Camden County Freeholder Board has been notified that PSE&G will conduct repairs to its natural gas lines on Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill over the next several weeks.
Phase one of the project will take place on Haddonfield Road between Dudley Avenue and Princeton Avenue, which should take about one week to complete. Phase two of the project will then be done on Haddonfield Road between Maple Avenue and Church Road. PSE&G crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The exact timing of the project is dependent upon the weather and other factors.
“Motorists need to be aware of the construction taking place on Haddonfield Road over the next few weeks and plan their commutes accordingly,” said Freeholder Ian Leonard, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Whenever you are driving through a road construction zone, please stay prepared for traffic pattern changes, and be observant of posted instructions or directions from police officers.”
Although every attempt will be made to keep the entire roadway open in both directions, it may become necessary at times to shift traffic or close one lane. There will be designated traffic management on the site.
